Absolutely! Went with my four kids. Oldest is 16 and youngest is 5. They all had a wonderful time!

Just three might be a little young, but there are plenty of hands on things to do that even very young children can enjoy. Our four year old grandsons had a blast. While there were some activities they couldn't participate in, those were few and far between. As I recall, there was a special area for younger ones near the entrance and once my grandsons got in there, they were having so much fun it was hard to get them to leave to explore the rest of the museum.

If you deal with Bank of America they have free museum weekend beginning of each month. I used that.

If you have kids it's going to depend on how interested they are in different things I would think you could easily spend four hours in there with no problem I'm thinking even six …

Enjoy!
